Her Fearless Travel
was created to help women realize their dreams of traveling the world regardless of their wealth or socio-economic background.
My name is Cassandra and I started traveling at 22. I put myself through college, paid off my student loans (lots of coupons and discounted groceries!) my first year of corporate work, and then quit my job to teach English in Thailand. From there I learned how to backpack and eventually, travel with Work Exchanges.
We didn't have a lot of money growing up and my parents couldn't afford to pay for me to study abroad or really do any kind of travel. So when I got to the point in my life that I could do it for myself, I jumped in, both feet first, no clue what I was doing but with the most adamant desire to figure it out.
Since getting started in 2015, I've traveled to 24 countries and have done Work Exchanges in places like Casablanca, Morocco; Madrid, Spain; and Mbale, Uganda.
I've spent a TON of time outside of the US, and I figured out a way to do it WITHOUT a full-time job, WITHOUT being a remote work cyber genius, WITHOUT having parents willing to pay for anything, and WITHOUT racking up tons of credit card debt (in fact, no credit card debt).
The coolest part is that ANYONE can implement these strategies and travel the world themselves, pretty much for as long as they want.
The goal of Her Fearless Travel is to get YOU out into the world and living your wildest, most pure travel dreams. I will take you through the entire process, step by step, from having literally no idea where to start, to feeling super confident getting on a plane to travel, knowing how to apply for visas, how to communicate with hosts, how to find and book hostels, where to buy the best travel insurance, what credit cards are best for travel, and know the best apps to communicate with your family and friends no matter where you are in the world.
By the time you finish the course, you'll be ready to take on the world. ✈️
"Before Her Fearless Travel, I didn't even know what a Work Exchange was. Now, I'm volunteering in a hostel in Barcelona."

Hi, I’m Cassandra
I've been traveling since I was 22... Now I'm 28. These days I call beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico my home but I traveled all over the world before I ended up here. I've taught English abroad, backpacked on a budget, Couchsurfed, done Work Exchanges, and even lived in Spain for a year and a half as an Expat. I believe that everyone should be able to travel, regardless of where they come from.
